Lake of Darkness (alpha)
A downloadable game
Lake of Darkness is a visual novel psychological thriller inspired by classics such as Milk Inside a Bag of Milk, Omori, And the Don't Escape trilogy.
As your small town is coming to grips with multiple mysterious disappearances you get a premonition in a dream that you are destined to die in three days. The game reacts to the choices you make and boasts 25+ unique endings with more added each patch as we approach the final release. Will you hide from your fate? Spend your last few days with loved ones? Try to break the cycle? Or discover the secrets of your past?
This is an early release build, there very well may be bugs, errors, or inconsistencies in design. Please give me feedback on literally anything you think could be changed or tweaked. The finished game will be significantly more polished. Keep an eye out for updates and future releases. Mac users will need to download the Renpy launcher in order to play Lake Of Darkness.
